Manchester United's Antony has given his immediate reaction following the confirmation of his loan deal with La Liga side Real Betis.
The winger arrived in Spain on Friday and put the finishing touches to a move that will see him stay with Betis for the remainder of the season. The deal, though, does not include an option for that transfer to be made permanent in the summer transfer window.
Antony's move to United has not gone as many would have hoped. He has slipped down the pecking order at Old Trafford with his last start in the Premier League coming back in the 4-0 defeat against Crystal Palace at the end of last season.
He has featured just eight times in the league so far this season. His only goal of the campaign came in the League Cup win over Barnsley back in September, with his goal coming from the penalty spot.
Following the confirmation of his latest transfer, Antony has now taken to Instagram to share his signing pictures, along with a short caption that translates to: "Intense day! Made a new story!"
It's understood that the Spanish club will cover a big percentage of the winger's wages between now and the end of the season. He will have just over a week to wait until he can make his debut, with Betis not in action again until Sunday, February 2 when they host Athletic Bilbao in La Liga.
The team currently sits in ninth place in the Spanish top-flight, having earned 28 points from their 21 games so far this campaign. Boosted by Antony's arrival They will be looking to close the gap on the European spaces between now and the end of the season.
Antony has made 96 appearances for United overall. In that time, he has scored 12 goals with five assists.
