Doubts: Díaz 75%Diogo Jota 75%

Banned:

Latest News: Arne Slot says the Reds will assess the fitness of Diogo Jota after the forward reported some muscular discomfort following his goalscoring cameo at Nottingham Forest in midweek. An absence for Jota would potentially be good news for Luis Diaz, then, although the Colombian first has to shake off an illness: he sat out training on Thursday but was expected back the following day. Slot's third option through the middle, Darwin Nunez, returns from suspension but defender Joe Gomez (hamstring) remains out. There's a chance Darwin finds himself in the starting XI, indeed, should Jota not be risked and Diaz - who also got through 75 minutes on Tuesday - still be under the weather. Diaz hasn't really convinced in a central role of late either but Slot did not agree with that viewpoint in his presser (at least publicly), saying that the Colombia international "has done really well as a nine". Outside of the line-leading role, there's always the challenge of Curtis Jones to those (Dominik Szoboszlai especially) in the engine room. And Slot may also consider a change at left-back, after Kostas Tsimikas came on for a declining Andrew Robertson to assist Jota in midweek.
