Manchester United legend Wayne Rooney will be jumping back into coaching next month but not for a professional team.
Rooney has been out of work less than two weeks after he was sacked by Championship club Plymouth Argyle having won just five of 25 matches.
The results left the Devon club languishing in the relegation zone in the English second tier and left the former England international's managerial reputation in tatters.
Speculation has been rife as to what Rooney will look to do next in his post-playing career.
Many have suggested he will look to take the punditry route which has favoured many of his former United teammates.
With Roy Keane looking likely to step back from punditry in the near future, there is a gap in the market for someone to replace him and Rooney could be that man.
But on a personal level, it appears the former striker still harbours hopes of coaching in the future.
As such, Rooney will be dipping his toe back into coaching during the February half term break.
Rooney has been named as a new ambassador for Football Escapes who describe themselves as: 'The ultimate family holiday and football experience.'
As an ambassador, Rooney will be running a coaching session for the children attending Jumeirah Beach Hotel in Dubai between February 17 and February 21.
Those attending have been promised: "This is your chance to give your kids the opportunity to train with one of football’s greatest icons."
The starting prices for this holiday and training experience for a family of four range between £4650 to £8650, according to the Football Escapes website.
