Crystal Palace boss Oliver Glasner has said the club are currently trying to complete two transfers - but refused to reveal which players or positions they are targeting.
Palace have seen two bids for Liverpool's Ben Doak rejected and are preparing a third, while they have approached Millwall about another winger, Romain Esse.
"As soon as we sign a player we will tell you. We are working on two transfers but I don't know how quickly we'll get them done," said Glasner.
"When we are talking about it, it just makes it more expensive!"
Glasner also revealed no Palace player has told him he wants to leave the club in this window, amid interest in Marc Guehi from the centre-back's former club Chelsea.
"If we can keep the squad together - because we're really pleased with the players how they've developed over the last couple of months after not an easy start - it looks quite positive.
"No one has told me he wants to leave. That's the most important part: the players want to stay here."
