Latest from Sky Sports News' Anthony Joseph:
Talks between Celtic and Arsenal left-back Kieran Tierney are believed to be progressing well.
It’s understood both parties are keen to reach a pre-contract agreement, with Tierney willing to take a significant pay cut to return to his boyhood club in the summer.
As Sky Sports News revealed previously, Celtic are also exploring a loan deal for the 27-year-old this month – but it’s understood any move for that might not come until later in the window.
Celtic cannot register any new signings for the Champions League league phase. Their last league phase match is on January 29 against Aston Villa and if they make it through to the knockouts, new signings can be registered in February.
