The 26-year-old midfielder, recruited from Leipzig last summer (55 million euros), and the 23-year-old striker, who arrived from Girona (2.7 million euros), have still not been registered by La Liga for 2025.

The Spanish League accuses Barça of having exceeded the limit of what it was allowed to spend on wages given its income. The Catalan club has taken legal action in order to be able to register its two summer signings, who now find themselves unable to play. Without success, so far.
