Former Manchester United managers Erik ten Hag and David Moyes have been tipped to return to Premier League management with Everton, should Sean Dyche leave the club.
The Toffees manager is currently under fire with the Merseyside club lurking just above the relegation zone. Sky Sports have reported that Dyche finds himself under pressure with the new owners the Friedkin Group holding conversations this weekend about the former Watford and Burnley boss' future.
It is understood that Dyche will be in charge for at least the remainder of the week but with a new ownership group in place, the Englishman could be on borrowed time if results do not improve. In the meantime, Ten Hag has been out of work since being sacked by United at the end of October.
The Reds got off to their worst ever start in the Premier League under the Dutchman's management and despite having his contract extended in the summer, Ineos made the decision to sack him. Since then, Ten Hag has returned to the Netherlands and has not made his next step in management.
According to Gambling.com, Ten Hag is one of the managers who could replace Dyche. However, he is priced at 14/1 so he is seen as an outsider.
On the other hand Moyes, who spent 11 years at Goodison Park before moving to Old Trafford, is the favourite at 7/4 to move back to Merseyside. Another contender with United links is former midfielder and interim boss Michael Carrick.
He is priced at 5/1 having done wonders in his first permanent job at Middlesbrough. The North East club currently sit fifth in the Championship.
