Everton's new owners The Friedkin Group have been assessing the club's direction and the future of manager Sean Dyche over the weekend, according to Sky Sports News.
Everton have won just one game from their last eleven matches and sit just one point out of the relegation zone following Saturdays defeat at Bournemouth.
The Friedkin Group's plan was to get to the end of this season and then conduct a full and detailed evaluation of the club.
But there are concerns about the team's performances and discussions have taken place to agree how best to proceed.
