Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta fears Ethan Nwaneri is facing an injury lay-off after he was substituted at half-time in the 1-1 draw with Brighton.
Nwaneri, 17, scored Arsenal's opening goal at the Amex Stadium in front of watching England boss Thomas Tuchel but was replaced by Gabriel Martinelli at the interval before Joao Pedro's penalty clinched a draw for Brighton.
Arteta revealed Nwaneri had suffered a muscular problem, raising fears he could face a spell on the sidelines at a time when Arsenal are already without Bukayo Saka, while Kai Havertz is still suffering from illness.
"Unfortunately I think we lost him as well," Arteta revealed. "So that's another one but we carry on. It's a muscular thing. We had to take him off."
Arsenal are also missing Raheem Sterling due to a knee problem, while Martin Odegaard and Martinelli were only fit enough to feature as substitutes against Brighton.
