Rúben Amorim's decision to leave Marcus Rashford out of the Manchester United squad for a bunch of matches last month has people talking again about the forward's future at Old Trafford.
Ben Jacobs of Give Me Sport recently said that while Paris Saint-Germain hasn't made any recent approaches for Rashford, the club's sporting advisor, Luis Campos, is keeping a close eye on the situation.
PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaïfi has talked to Rashford's people before, but it's not likely that there'll be any more talks unless the player says he's really interested in moving to Paris. This careful approach comes after Rashford signed a five-year contract extension with Manchester United in July 2023.
Jacobs also said that Rashford is thinking about moving to La Liga, with Barcelona said to be interested in signing him. But it's not that simple - there could be money issues, and a loan deal might be the only thing that works if Manchester United are cool with paying a big chunk of his wages.
On Thursday, TEAMtalk reported that Borussia Dortmund and PSG are showing renewed interest in Rashford, citing sources.
Rashford and his teammate, Joshua Zirkzee, are currently on the market as Manchester United looks to revamp its attacking options. The Red Devils are open to offers for both players but are standing firm on their asking prices.
The Premier League side is said to value Rashford at around £50-60 million, which is just their way of making money while keeping an eye on their spending. We'll probably hear some big news about Rashford in the next few days, with PSG still in the running after showing interest last summer.
PSG see him as a versatile forward, and Borussia Dortmund also think he'd be a great addition to their squad. The German side, who successfully secured Jadon Sancho on loan in 2024, may well explore the possibility of a similar deal for Rashford.
