Heart, brain and voice in the RB cosmos: Klopp's new world

As the face and voice of the Red Bull Group, Jürgen Klopp is set to take things to the next level starting in January. What will change internally? And what is his task?
Jürgen Klopp got a taste of what awaits him during his future stadium visits last Saturday. Supporters of Holstein Kiel branded his face alongside those of Oliver Mintzlaff, Dietmar Hopp, and Martin Kind as the "gravediggers of German football" and marked them with a crosshair during their home game against RB Leipzig.
It was a tasteless display, which has long been a rather concerning norm for Mintzlaff, Hopp, and Kind. But not for Klopp, who was always considered to be on the side of these self-proclaimed football traditionalists and romantics – until October 9th when his move to the Red Bull football universe was announced. Since then, the once revered figure in their eyes has been seen as a deserter and traitor – even by the ultras in Mainz and Dortmund, to whom he brought the most successful years in the clubs' histories when he was their coach.
