Amorim: Changes are inevitable if Man Utd aren't winning

Ruben Amorim accepts there could be wholesale changes at Manchester United.
Dan Ashworth left his role as Manchester United sporting director after last weekend’s disappointing 3-2 loss to Nottingham Forest, with reports emanating since that several United players are available for transfer in order to provide Amorim with funds to rebuild the squad.
Ahead of the Europa League clash away at Viktoria Plzen, Amorim said he is not thinking too much about potentially needing to sell to buy in January, insisting he is focused on what he already has at his disposal at Old Trafford.
“It’s a lot of details you have to manage,” Amorim told reporters.
“Every detail counts and you have to be very clear first in the profiles, arrange all the process, and then go to that phase of buying and selling players.
“But we have international players like Ty (Tyrell Malacia, sitting alongside him). They are good players and we need time to teach our idea. Then we will see, because this is a massive club - if you don’t win, the coach goes, the players go.
“So you have to know that, so we have to improve as a team.
“We have to arrange a lot of things in our club before thinking just in buying and selling players. There is a lot to do so let’s focus on improving our players, improving our academy and see.”
