
'Ranieri in talks to come out of retirement to take caretaker charge of Roma'

Roma are working on a deal to appoint ex-Leicester and Chelsea boss Claudio Ranieri as their new caretaker manager until the end of the season, according to The Athletic.
The 73-year-old is reportedly in talks to come out of retirement and take charge of the Serie A side on a caretaker basis after Roma sacked Ivan Juric on Sunday.
If a deal can be completed, it would be the Italian's third stint in charge of Roma and see him add to his 37 years of managerial experience.
Ranieri, who famously led Leicester to Premier League glory in 2016, retired from club management at the end of last season after helping Cagliari to Serie A safety.
If he returns to Roma then he will be taking over a side who are 12th in Serie A, with their next fixture at league leaders Napoli on November 24.
