Leganes vs Sevilla
Match preview
Leganes are the reigning champions of the Segunda Division and are looking to make it back-to-back seasons in the Spanish top flight for the first time since 2020.
El Lega have a record of two wins, five draws and five defeats from their 12 league games this season, leaving them in 15th place with 11 points, two points above the relegation zone.
All in all, it has been a solid start to the season for the Madrid outfit, who have won two of their last three games in all competitions, including a 3-0 win over Celta Vigo in their last match on home soil.
Borja Jimenez's side also beat Ciudad de Lucena 2-1 in the Copa del Rey at the end of last month to progress to the second round of the competition, but were beaten 4-3 by Girona in the league last weekend.
Leganes have lost their last two La Liga games against Sevilla, with their last top-flight success over Saturday's opponents coming in the 2018-19 campaign, when they won 3-0.
Sevilla have also won two of their last three games, ending October with consecutive victories over Espanyol and Las Rozas in the league and Copa del Rey respectively.
However, Garcia Pimienta's side come into the game on the back of a 2-0 home defeat to Real Sociedad last time out, a result that left them 13th in the table.
Sevilla have won four, drawn three and lost five of their 12 league games this season, picking up 15 points and sitting just four points above their opponents this weekend.
However, just four points separate them from sixth-placed Athletic Bilbao, so a lot can change in a short space of time, and there have been positive signs from the team in the early stages of the campaign.
Los Nervionenses finished 14th in the Spanish top flight last season, their worst campaign since relegation in 1999-2000, so there is plenty of room for improvement in 2024-25.

Team News
Leganes will be without Jorge Saenz, Daniel Raba, Jackson Porozo, Sebastien Haller and Naim Garcia for Saturday's clash, while Yvan Neyou is suspended following his yellow card against Girona.
Jimenez is expected to make changes to the side that started the last game, with Javi Hernandez and Valentin Rosier both likely to come into the side.
Juan Cruz got on the scoresheet against Girona and is likely to partner Miguel de la Fuente in the final third of the field, while Adria Alti could see a more advanced role.
Sevilla are without Tanguy Nianzou, Loic Bade, Orjan Nyland, Chidera Ejuke, Saul Niguez and Stanis Idumbo through injury, while Suso remains a major doubt.
Idumbo's absence could open the door for Peque Fernandez to play in the final third of the field, while Juanlu Sanchez is expected to move up in the XI.
Isaac Romero will once again lead the Sevilla line on Saturday night, but Jesus Navas and Djibril Sow may have to accept places on the bench at the Estadio Municipal de Butarque.
