Manuel Akanji provides fitness update after limping out of Tottenham clash
Manchester City defender Manuel Akanji has insisted he will be fit for the club's Premier League clash with Bournemouth at the weekend.
Akanji limped out of City's EFL Cup defeat to Tottenham on Wednesday, suffering from a tight groin during the warm up in north London.
But speaking to Sky Sports on Thursday, the Switzerland has calmed fans' fears and revealed he will be back in full training on Friday.
