Barça will arrive at the Bernabéu for El Clásico as leaders, feeling better than Real Madrid. Real Madrid won, but they were not convincing. Apart from the mistake in Pamplona, Barça kept their perfect start to the league, and Sevilla had no problems at Montjuïc. Flick sent out his best team despite the upcoming clash with Bayern in the Champions League. He did not intend to arrive at the El Clásico without a three-point advantage.

Barça started strongly, with Ansu Fati on due to Eric Garcia's muscle problem, while Sevilla started conservatively, relying on the speed of Lukebakio and Ejuk on the wing. The visitors had the first chance but missed the shot instead of passing to Isak. Ejuk also showed his dribbling skills in another counterattack, but he missed.

Pimienta's men withstood Barca's attack and began to feel comfortable on the ball, but Peck made a mistake that won the game. The former Atlético player fouled Rafinha in the penalty area and De Burgos Bengotchea scored the penalty, Lewandowski's 11th goal in the league. Four minutes later, Sevilla was still recovering from the first goal when the second came. Pedri stole the ball and Barca quickly counterattacked. Pedri received a pass from Lamine and shot with his right foot, and Kounde let the ball go. Less than half an hour into the game, Barca had decided the game with Sevilla.

Flick's players liked winning and wanted to beat Barca again. Nylander saved from Lewandowski, but Rafinha scored from outside the box in the 38th minute. Agoume scored his 12th league goal, despite the Pole being offside. Sevilla also lost Eyuk to injury. He suffered a serious muscle tear and was forced to leave the field. The break was good for Sevilla.

Ramini Yamal showed he was still at the top of his game with four brilliant performances in the second half. First, he shot with his outside foot, forcing Nylander to save; then, he passed to Rafinha, who scored, but he was offside; finally, he attacked the wings but Rafinha missed and no one finished his cross. It was less than five minutes since the restart. Carmona fouled him to calm him down.

In the last 30 minutes, Flick took off Rafinha, Lewandowski and Ramini Yamal, while Gavi warmed up on the wing. Ansu Fati almost scored from his starting position, but the ball went wide. Flick replaced Pedri with Gavi, who returned from injury wearing the captain's armband. Sevilla scored a goal, and Barca scored four and five.

Next was El Clásico. Barça were ready to face Real Madrid, but first they had to beat Bayern Munich. The Champions League was about to start.
