Manchester United defender Noussair Mazraoui will be out for a few weeks after undergoing a minor heart procedure.
The full-back, who joined United from Bayern Munich in a deal worth an initial €15m (£12.8m), underwent the procedure after experiencing palpitations.
Mazraoui was taken off at half-time of United's goalless draw with Aston Villa last weekend and was replaced by Victor Lindelof.
A Manchester United source said: "This is a relatively common condition and Noussair is expected to make a full recovery and be available for selection within the next few weeks."
The news means Mazraoui joins a long list of United defensive absentees. Harry Maguire also came off at half-time of United's draw at Aston Villa with a muscular injury and will be out for a few weeks.
Maguire and Mazraoui join long-term absentees Leny Yoro, Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia on the treatment table.
Kobbie Mainoo, Alejandro Garnacho and Amad Diallo also withdrew from their national team squads for this October international break due to injury.
