Juventus have opened talks with the Red Devils over a loan deal for the winger. While it was reported this week that United are open to another temporary switch, they would prefer to sell him on a permanent basis.
That preference could give Chelsea the advantage, as Sky Sports reporter Dharmesh Sheth says the London club are in contention to land the England international. The Blues are open to sending another player to Old Trafford as part of the deal to lower the transfer fee.
Despite seemingly putting an end to his feud with Erik ten Hag, which resulted in him being banished from the squad and sent on loan to Borussia Dortmund last season, Sancho has not featured in either of United's first two Premier League games of the season. He travelled with the team for Saturday's game against Brighton, but was left out of the squad, reportedly due to talks over a potential transfer.
It seems Sancho is yet to properly win over Ten Hag in the early stages of the season, so he may push for a move before the transfer window comes to an end on August 30. Whether he prefers to head to Chelsea or Juventus remains to be seen.
